You can connect your ps3 with your laptop via ethernet cable, and share the laptops wireless connection so that the ps3 reads it as a wired connection ?

Yeah thats how I got my net to my ps3 connected, Just scan for connections on your ps3 then choose your connection when the scan results show up. Your going to need to know your WEP Key though.

Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but are you trying to connect your PS3 to the internetz?

If so, it has built-in wifi.

It's probably possible if you bridge the 2 network connections on your laptop but there really isn't any point in doing this. Why would you want to do this? If you are going wireless to the laptop then go wireless to the ps3.
