I don't know for sure, but seeing as Polyphony is a bunch of perfectionists, I'm going to say most likely. Whether or not they can keep 1080 while doing 3D I completely don't know though.
It will play in 1080p yeah Prologue allowed you to do it, I doubt they would strip that out. Natively though prologue was 1280x1080 and will probably close to that in the final version.

well, ever since it first became a series, it's usually been top of the line. It's the top driving simulation video game series in history. Gran turismo 3 is the 3rd highest selling game in history, plus, it's only on ps3. I'd be extremely surprised if it wasn't.
