Does anyone know the cost of sending a PS3 to Sony?

Hey guys i want to send my PS3 in for repairs but i don't know how much it will cost before its finished. Did anyone else do the same thing i am thinking of doing or do you guys know how much it will cost max.

Tell me about it. I had to send it end due to the 2.40 firmware update and ended up getting screwed twice

damn thats pricy.

Would it be better just to trade for an XBOX 360.

I dont know its the controller or the PS3 but everytime i play online my connection goes and my Controller turns off and i can never shut it down normally. I have to always Manually shut it down by holding the off button for about 10 seconds.

It happens when im playing my brother aswell but i dont mind as much then as i do not lose ranks.
