If so, how is the sound quality? Does the slim have improved sound?

Since I've owned my PSP(last august) I've only played it at home.... and i'm barely home, I been using it for a MP3 player since the day i got it... I loved my PSP pouch and would just put it in my front jeans pocket and only take it out to switch songs, then i found out about how you can create folders and put songs into groups. Now that good games are coming out and more people I know are getting PSP's i'm using it as a gaming system again, but i still love my PSP for it's music/video capabilities.
It just depends on your headphones. I have really nice sound-cancelling ones that I got at Hastings for $15. I use it at school all the time and if you have a big enough memory stick and nice headphones it works as a great mp3 player and a sweet gaming machine when you get bored of the music. :)jimboboklashaur
wtf is hastings? i bought a used pc game earlier this year, and it had a sticker about the hastings return policy. is it canadian?
yeah i use it as an mp3 player. i got the older version but the sound quality is great, then again it depends on the headset. the one's the camewith it are great.
as for the the slim one, on the other hand, doesn't include anything like that.i assume the quality is the same, but you're gonna have to choose between the 2000 headsets from sony or other ones.
I also used it as a MP3 player it worked fine...it wasnt as good as an ipod. I stopped using it as an MP3 player on August 12th becaus i got my Ipod video for my birthday. If you are just planning on using it as an MP3 player get an Ipod Video it does videos and flash games. I reccomend you use your psp for all its uses not just music because thats kind of pointless but back to the topic it works well as an MP3 player just a bbit big to carry.
