The bluetooth Headset that came with Warhawk will not allow me to talk. It says the NAT Type is Type 3 and this can cause for restrictions on headset communications with other PS3's and users. Any idea why this? Please helpI want to experience Warhawk fully.

Yes, they work. I have a wireless router and I have no problem. Do you know how to change NAT type? Becuase I will walk you through it.

No I dont know how to change the NAT Type. I know this is the problem. Mine currently is NAT Type 3. I need to get NAT Type 2 at least. I am using a Motorola Wireless Cable Modem Router. Will this have any affect? If you leave me a post on how to do it, it would be great.

What is your gamer tag?

OUC05 is mine on PSN

Yeah, I need to know how to change NAT Type also. I'm at 3 currently. My headset was working ok, but it does mention that NAT 3 restricts chat and communication functions in general.

It's Rich1631 on PSN.

1.) Go to http://www.ip-adress.com/copy down your computer's ip adress which is in the little box, you might have to click that button next to it to refresh it just in case.

2.) Turn on your PS3 and scroll over to settings on the XMB, then scroll down to system settings and open it up. Then scoll down to system information and click it. A screen will come up and display some info like mac adress and such. Copy down the PS3's ip adress.

3.) On your computer click start then run, type iexplore your computer's ip adress For Example: iexplore 111.222.2.2

4.) The internet will open and a box will pop up. For username type "admin" and password "admin". That is the default information.

5.) Your router settings will appear. Now I have a linksys router and mine has a tab that says applications and gaming. You might have something like that. When I click that I have the choice to choose DMZ. That is what you need to look for. DMZ. Find that and your golden. When you find that I'll continue. I don't want to confuse you anymore. LOL. It actually isn't that bad and your almost done.

6.) When you open DMZ, click enable then type in your PS3's ip address and save your settings.

7.) Then redo your internet connection test and you should now have Nat 2. This worked for me and my dad has all kinds of crazy firewall and virus settings and if I got it to work then you should have no problem. I swear he has more security than Area 51 on this computer and router.

The bluetooth headset operability has nothing to do with your router. Did you make sure to actually select the headset in the audio menu outside of the blutooth menu?

Bluetooth and a wireless router work on completely different radio frequencies. It's physically impossible for your bluetooth to affect a wireless router. If you can't get your headset to work on your PS3 - consult the instructions that came with the headset. I bought a cheapo bluetooth and was able to get it to work after a quick 5 minute read.

Are you putting a space in between the "iexplore" and the IP address? You need that space.
