does copying all the save files onto usb drive...save all content including DLC?

i'm about to switch all my stuff from my old 40gb ps3 to a newly purchased 60gb ps3...

will all my LBP costumes switch over, for example...? I just need to make sure I copy and save all the save files, right?

It really depends... I'm assuming LBP's costumes are downloaded content from the PSN... in that case, no, they aren't giong to be saved unless you do an entire backup of your PS3. The good news is that after you get your PSN account set up on your "new" PS3 you should just be able to download that stuff again without any worries. Doing the full backup is really your best bet and I recommend it if you can. Either way, hope it works out well for you.

sigh...i bought the 60gb ps3...tried copying little big planet save file...and it wouldn't let me use any of the costumes i had bought....it would show them...but couldn't use them because they weren't authorized on that ps3..

what i then realized was (still may make no difference) that I had signed into a different PSN account (one that I had abandoned)...

so if i had signed into the same one...maybe i would have been able to download all that stuff again... not sure though...but i guess I'll never found out because i immediately sold the ps3 to a friend :-(
