Does Destiny 2 Story Mode Need a Connection

Team, I have a PS4, but don't have their online pass. I would like to play Destiny 2 Story Mode only with my daughter. Is that doable? Thanks for your time and answer. - Filip

It's needs an internet connection but not a ps plus membership, if that's what you're asking. Each activity on there says whether ps plus is required or not.

Destiny is On-line only, you need a connection.

Online connection to play story mode, and ps+ to play the rest (I think).

Thanks Everyone! I only wanted to play Story Mode, taking turns with my 11 yr. old daughter. We love the story stuff, have a PS4 connected but not subscribed to PS+. So it sounds like its a go!
