does dlc ever go on sale?

I know that there is some dlc I wouldn't mind having, but at the same time I don't want to spend $10-$15 for some of the dlc that's either just a few maps for mp or is a $15 dlc extra mission pack that is only a few dollars less than the price of the game (i.e. AC2 is around $20 new for a good length game while the dlc for only a few missions is almost the same price). I was wondering if there's ever any sales on dlc that doesn't require you to pay for playstation+.

Yeah, it goes on sale occasionally. I wouldn't bank on CoD maps or other popular games' DLC packs to be discounted though. Depends on the game I guess.

COD dlc is the most overpriced I've ever seen. It's kind of horrible how in BO and WAW they have it listed what maps you don't have (at least for zombies) and demand you buy it, which basically says we screwed you by making you buy our game, but in order to buy the full game you have to pay us even more.

Im hoping ACB dlc goes on sale soon, only paid 20 bucks for it tho so may just get it,

i lucked out with COD my ps3 died so i got the black ops bundle wit the first strike dlc and got the other one from a friend, i paid nothing for 90 dollars worth of stuff! :O

Sales occur sometimes, I myself haven't seen them, but I have seen DLC's for older games have price drops (i.e, Bad Company 2 Shortcut Pack was $20 a year ago, now it's $10).

I wouldn't mind the prices so much if you got a good amount of content, but so far the only games that have given that are ES: Oblivion with the shivering isles and the borderlands dlc (i got both games as GOTY editions so it came with it). Then again, has there ever been a moment in ES when you actually felt like you were missing out on anything.

Rarely. You have a better chance of buying discounted DLC during major holidays.
