Yeah man you dont NEED a HDTV .. your PS3 will play on SD so will any game it has .. fifty years from now you still will be able to .. unless you go 500 years into the future and try and play a Wii :) ..

i swear like yesterday or something i saw a thread that said GTA doesnt work on my tv. And the tv was SD.
