I know it supports 1080i. That's not the question. I asked what resolution this game will scale to on my TV. However, if no one knows, I will understand. Were you trying to tell me that it will downscale to 1080i by default?
Of course you would loose detail if you went from 1080p to 720p, but it depence on the size of the screen and how close you are sitting at the screen. Sitting to far, you wouldn't notice the difference between 1080p and 720p.
And it would be stupid if Lair didn't support 720p. Most peoples hdtv's only support 720p native.

No I bet it won't downscale the 1080p image if your TV only can show 720p, no need for that. Instead it will render image in 720p.

I's say that most people tend to sit pretty close to the TV when playing. Anyway. 1080p isn't just more details but also less jitter and Aliasing.
all 1080p games should (and probably will) support 1080i and 720p as well. all 1080p games will AT LEAST support 1080i, which probably all 720p native sets support. if you have your PS3 settings set correctly, it will play at the highest resolution your set is capable of, which is probably 1080i.
