My PS3 and controller had water on it and seems to have a few problems. The controller turns on the system sometimes and cant charge well. My PS3 seems fine but I notice it freezes once in a while and I think the loading is a bit slower.

When you say water...what do you mean? Submerged, or was a glass spilled on it?

you can give sony a call and see. But i'm pretty sure they don't accept water damage because its more of the owner's fault than machine.

Two options:

Don't tell Sony what happened and hope for the best, or

Contact your home-owners or -renters insurance and see what they say.

In either case, you will likely have to be less than ethical to get a free replacement.

I say don't tell Sony what happened. It mightbe considered an act of God.

EDIT : wait...aren't you that guy that dropped his pipe on PS3?

So, you dropped a pipe on your PS3 and *THEN* doused it with water? Are you TRYING to prove the machine is more capable than a 360 or do you just enjoy the finer torments in life?

No you got it all wrong. What happend was that the pipe was cut somewhere and the basement was flooded with water and the PS3 was in a good safe place but had small amount of water on it.

If you bought the Super Duper, Everything's Covered Until the End of Time Warranty for $26 million, then...Yes.
