does NFS hot pursuit have split screen mode

does need for speed hot pursuit have a split screen mode or is it like shift i saw a demo of people doing SS but people have said it doesnt

only on the wii has split screen but its more like hotpursuit 1 , that said dont expect the same expeirence

it does not have split screen..BUT it was made by the people who make burnout...and i believe burnout eventually got split screen so I am sure after some time they will release a patch to includde split screen....more than likely for around $15-$20.. :-( :x
