Hi all,,so i read to the ps3 official site that it can connect wireless to internet,,,how can i do this?also can i play online multiplayer games with friends???:question:

wow...yes you go to settings, network settings (all the way down), and from there go to internet connection settings, pick custom, wireless, search/scan...go throught the steps, you'll get through it...that is all..

to add to the above, and as redundant as it may be to state, make sure you have a wireless-g (too bad ps3 doesn't have wireless-n)router hooked up to your cable/dsl modem

you need a wireless router first and broadband internet

technically u can but i wouldnt recommend it

Haha u can try, most of the ones I see that are Linksys are unsecure, but don't expect it to work as great, just buy a $60-$70-ish router and you'll be fine assuming you have Cable or DSL. Btw did someone say something about having problems with N routers? Mine is an N and I have connected but havn't played anything online yet not counting Home.

erm i have a wireless router with a 2mb connection and my online gaming runs very smooth even with LBP ive never experienced lag, but i have a question or two. why a g router and not n? whats the difference? how i know is g or n? thanks for the answers

2mb connection as in thats what ur internet gets? and u can probobly check which type by either looking at your router or its settings.
