I saw my friend playing a level where he was firefighting in space and my jaw dropped from how amazingly beautiful and fun it looked. I think I'm set on getting the game, what would you guys say about it's retail value

you mean replay value right like you wrote on the topic?

It has lots of skillpoints to unlock and some planets you visit are just so fun to play you will be playing in that place for hours.

Its replay value is mediocre for the average gamer i guess.

I think it's up there with Uncharted when it comes to color and beauty. As for the reply value, it

depends on the type of person you are. I've beaten it 28 times just to get the RYNO and if you

flip the level (cheat) if feels like a completely new level. How cool is that!? :D

I think the replay value is great. Beating the game unlocks Challenge mode where you can acquire more powerful versions of all your weaponry, in addition to new body armor. I highly recommend it.

You can go back to any of the planets and re-explore them, as well as find new things (golden bolts) that you missed. By collecting bolts, you can spend them on new costumes and content. It's real cool.

Also, you can get any of the skill points that the game offers. These range from really hard to fun and simple. Collecting skill points also unlocks additional material.

Finally, once you beat the game, you can take all the weapons, gadgets, armor and equipment that you had at the end of the first game and recycle it back to the beginning of a new game. It's a little bit harder, and called Challange Mode.

Overall, the game doesn't end once you beat it, it's awesome. Not to mention the game is about 15-20 hours anyway.

I thought this game was beautiful and had a great time playing through it the first time. I found it a bit easy and repetitive towards the end and I found myself wondering when it was going to start getting hard. (Maybe because it was targeted at a younger audience?)

I started playing through in challenge mode after I beat it but found it was just too repetitive and returned it to GameFly instead of continuing to play it.

In contrast, I have played through Uncharted 3+ times and it still hasn't gotten old to me.
