does resistance 2 have better graphics then far cry 2??

Well, people say this because they have different opinions. So just like the question you're asking, you will get different answers. It's all relative really and there's no official answer so I think you should consider renting the games and judge by yourself because all you're going to get from this thread are opinions.

Surely people know if a game has good graphics, if someone says gears 2, mgs4, uncharted and crysis i'm sure people would admit that they have good graphics. It just has to be technically impressive to know a game looks good, artistically impressive i think is were opinions come into it.

Far Cry 2 is more realistic. R2 has sci-fi looking graphics but it's no where near BioShock to begin with. Though R2 is superior than BioShock and the online is unmatched with current FPS games. In the end, it's not about graphics, it's the gameplay that makes this game outstanding.

R2 graphics >>>> bioshock...  i played the demo and if the graphics are the same as the retail version...it bad not great

On PC far Cry 2 looks better but on PS3 RS2 looks better.JLF1

Resistance is more cartoony and not very detailed, textures are bland

Far Cry 2 is more realistic and im my opinion beats R2 in the charatcer models and some environemts even though there are so different.

Far Cry 2 has guns that feel much stronger, and feels like a gun should

anybody who says R2 is better, clearly hasnt played the two on PS3.

I have, and FC2 is a lot better. R2 is pretty underwhelming graphically... just like the gameplay (to me at least). 

Resistance 2 has poor graphics IMO..  I see major pixelation, especially when killing those small crawlers that come in swarms.  The blood splatter literally looks like graphics out of doom 2..

 It's a decent game and the online coop is fun but the graphics are definetely nothing to write home about.

on the ps3? Yes, but both are inconsistent at times, the pc version of far cry 2 looks better then r2 though.
