Does the 40gb have limited online?

I went to my local gamestop the other day and aske if they had any 40gb ps3s. The store clerk told me that it was a waste of money to get becasue it doesnt have backwards cap. 2 usb (Which i knew) .....but then he said it has limited online play and there are certain things you cant do on the 40 that you Can do on the 60 or 80. Is that true????

Does Gamestop give commissions? If so he was trying to sell you a more expensive PS3. The 60GB and 80GB models are great deals but the 40GB model can do everything they can do when it comes to standard PS3 gaming. The missing features can be added through upgrades besides PS2 games. So don't believe him. But the model you want. If you only want to spend $399 then get the 40GB model.
