Does the PlayStation Store ever have a sale like Steam?

I am fairly new to the Playstation Store/PSN.

Is there ever a mass discount?

Yes.

They have $1-$3 games on Flash sales frequently. In fact, a flash sale just happened this past weekend and there is no need to subscribe to anything.

Also, if you do happen to subscribe to PS+ (for SharePlay, free themes/DLC, discounts, online play, and PS+ free games a month), PS+ sales happen all the time as well.

PS+ sometimes work with the Flash sales for an extra % off. The discounts are one of the main reasons I have PS+.

Yeah, there are some pretty decent sales from time to time. They usually aren't near the scope of Steam Sales, but they're good enough to where I'll actually buy digital games sometimes, which I don't do for consoles unless it's cheaper.

PlayStation store tries to keep up with steam. There are sales during the holidays but steam usually has the better deals. Like this flash sale just recently had some not so good games. On steam during a sale the whole library of games are on sale. Hands down you get a better deal on steam.

There has been some good,solid sales on the ps store but nothing anywhere near the level of a big steam sale.

Right now there is a COD sale.

For ex: MW, MW2 & MW3 bundle for $40.

Last week there was a Naughty Dog sale ( I got The Last of Us for $6 ) plus a Flash sale during the weekend.

@randybumgardner: yes but I've seen them mostly on ps3 psn not sure about ps4 though because I don't use it as much.

The sales aren't too bad, the Flash sales are superb if you have a PS3 and Vita. For the PS4 they could be better but overall I am satisfied with the discounts. I got recently released PS4 version off Beyond: Two Souls and Heavy Rain for 29$ as a bundle for example and Infamous: Second Son for 9$.

Yes, they have pretty great sales especially if you have PS Plus you get even bigger discounts.
