I just bought a PS3 and Im waiting for Christmas to give it to my sons,,do I need to buy an add on cooling fan for it? I have 2 xbox 360,s and I bought add-on fans for them. Thanks for any help,,P.S. I did try it in 1080P via HDMI with MotorStorm and wow!! wow!

Depends on where you plan to keep it, if you have it out in teh open no add on is required, if you have it closed up in an entertainment system then it would help, cuz it does get pretty hot.

They do sell a Ps3 intercooler in stores. Its like 35 bucks. I saw one in Gamestop

No. An external fan is completly unnesasary for PS3. You can run it 24 hours and it would be just fine. Getting a fan hooked up to the back would just make a quiet system very loud.
