Does the PS3 support VGA? If not will it be coming in an update. Also if anyone knows, are LCD moniter considered HD and is there any LCD moniters that support HDMI (may be stupid question).

No current support for VGA... not sure if it will be added later or not. There are a few pc type monitors if thats what you mean.. that support hdmi. Sceptre makes a 22" model. LG has a 24 inch that displays 1080p and supports hdmi that is insanely expensive. There is also a BenQ that supports HDMI.

You could buy a component to VGA adapter and some cheap PS2 component cables like I did at - http://www.x2vga.com/

I have PS3 running at 1080p on a giant old CRT monitor I got online. Spent $200 total on adapter and monitor and I have 1080p. Picture looks great too... better than HDMI HDTVs I've seen.
