Her name might suggest something, but I won't comment anything further on it." Well she has 'Big' in her name, just like Big Boss. Big Boss was the father of Snake, and 'Mama' might imply mother...is this old news or do you think I'm on to something?

That's true, but she could have been the mother used during the cloning process right?
i had thread on this topic with a bunch of theories of why she's called Big Mama. She possibly can be a factor in the cloning of the snakes. Kojima only knows.
Dunno but that doesn't necessarily mean means she is the mother. Maybe she is called Big Mama, because she had an affair with Big Boss.
Well look so you are saying that the so called sons of snake are supposedly her sons. But that doesn't make sense since they are actual clones of Big Boss. So how is this related to her. Either she got pregnant and had a son or she is honored to be called by that name, because she was the Big Boss's second woman to actually be loved by him. Otherwise the other theories I have read seems really awkward and didn't really make sense. Though I do agree that Kojima might pull off a really weird plot agian, but Eva being one part of the cloning so she is called Big Mama? I don't know about that. But you maybe right. Its just doesn't seem to go together.
But when you think about it Eva did sleep with Big Boss so there might be a chance that she got pregnant and had a son or daughter. So she goes off and calls herself "Big Mama". But then that makes it to obvious...On the otherhand if that really is true then a Metal Gear Solid 5 will be likely. Metal Gear Solid 5 starring Big Boss's SON. TAN! TAN!! TAN!!!
