Its an offical Sony product, so it should be all good, but what's the "Mark 2" about? I haven't seen that on a mem stick yet...

It's legit. My memory stick (that came with the PSP Daxter Pack) is made by MagicGate. But you may have serious issues. I know a person that has an 8GB, and their games freeze 50-70 percent of the time. And it might have slow writing times. But if it is proven to work, it would be the ultimate card to have.

yeah, $260 for that sounds like a ripoff. The only reason to get one that expensive is just so you can brag that you have one. I like my 4gb just fine. and it only cost me $35. 35x4=$140 = much better deal (unless you have a file that is over 4GB in size). and no it does not look "cheap" as in fake either. looks like a legit ripoff.

It may or may not be legit however its really a moot point anyways. PSPs can officially use 4GB memory cards and are reported to being able to use 8GB cards after firmware update 3.0. I have not read anywhere that a PSP could use 16GB memory cards.

I've seen the 16gb cards, however they're not official cards but they are still compatible with PSP.

OK, first of all, Mark 2 might just be another special patented "memory size enhancement" tool. Second, if it's made by MagicGate, I trust em... They are one of the only companies you can trust. Lastly, I have heard that people have a lot of problems when they go over 8 GB. But The Mark 2 thing may be some sort of thing to prevent data corruption.
