A nice feature is ripping Blu-Rays but they are very large in size so not sure how worth it it is. I like the features but I got rid of Linux because I dont like to put in the code at the start to just play a game or go to the PS3 OS. I wish you could just chose with the controller which OS you wanted to start like a regular PC.

haven't tried ubuntu on ps3 I heard ydl ran better also able to use some of the locked ram as swap on ydl I don't know about ripping blu-ray discs if possible I would think it would take quite a long time. I only use ydl to watch flash movies so i don't have to convert them to watch on ps3 you can only use 10gb for ydl or ps3 no option to make your own partition sizes keep in mind this is a low end pc wouldn't try to edit video or anything like that on ps3.
