Does YLOD affect COD4 online?

Today i received the infamous yellow light of death. Got the news I had to shell out 150 bucks for the repair or refurbishment. Also read up on here that all my game data music and everything is abolished. I'm not too worried about that. But what I am worried about is ALL OF MY GOLD...GUNS ARE THEY GONE?!!!? it DOESN'T AFFECT THAT RIGHT BECAUSE IT'S ONLINE??!?!? I mean i worked so hard achieving that and all my kills. I have my passwords to my psn's saved and everything. Can anyone help who has experienced the YLOD and plays COD4? It would be greatly appreciated because i'm seriously worried about that...

Your cod4 online info will stay. Your offline data will not. So You will retain your guns, classes, and challenges, but you won't have your single player save file.

Oh no problem. I play the game at my cousin's house all the time using my account without transfering the data. The only thing that doesnt seem to come over is your class names and your clan tag. Although oddly your classes are still there. Just the names are blank.

Heh onw that i think about it i've done that aswell but i guess i need a second reassurance. I would go play over my cousins house right now but he has YLOD aswell :(

i'm sorry about that bro. It always sucks to lose a system. I recently had my lens die on me. It's ok though since my cousin traded me his old 20 gig with my 40 gig and hes just gonna fix the lens himself.
