My girl gets mad if I go on a gaming binge she doesn't mind if im playing offline or a game shes interested in. Currently she is in love with pain. If i leave the ps3 to go downstairs i come back and she is playing pain. She hates when i go on to play online binges. lol.
I've been with the same woman now for 7 years and over that time she has become used to my obsession. Importing consoles from Japan, playing games all night, yelling at theTV, it's all part of our relationship. She knits I game. Life goes on. Does she like it? She has no issues until I yell at the TV, but as I explain to her it's part of gaming and I've been yelling at TVs since the early 80s. She then usually yells at me for yelling at the TV and it's all on. ROUND 1 ... FIGHT!

I know plenty of people in their 40s and 50s that play video or computer games. Hell Twin Galaxies one of the most famous gaming sites on the web is run by the hell old school dudes.

ok im 30 and i can wait millions of years to hit 40 if i could. how can anyone not wait until there 40 lol. just thinking about 30 scares the crap out of me. will i be playing ps 4 or 5 yes but please slow down your life. lol can't wait until your 40 i still can't get over that.
yeah,my girl hates cod4 so i bought her singstar thinkin she wouldnt play it,but no!she plays all the time so when my mate go online and check my status im on singstar[not cool],my advice keep girls off ps3
Yea my girl supports me most of the time...at first when I got it and was shouting into my bluetooth headset late at night, she was a lil aggravated, but she understands and she actually suprises me from time to time by even purchasing me a game that she knows I am looking forward too but plan on buying later on myself. Also, it helps that she loves playin splitscreen Warhawk with me, it's truly great.

LOL. I'm 34 too, I've been gaming since PONG...with no real break in between (Atari, Coleco, NES, SNES, TurboGrafix 16, Genesis, PC, PS1, PS2, PS3). Our generation was lucky enough to see it all.:D
I'm 28 and have been married for 6 years. She supports me but gets a little annoyed. I have a 4 year old so most of my play time is spent after everyone goes to bed. occasionaly she tells me that she won't buy me anymore games and that she wants to throw "that crap" out the window. Next birthday or Christmas though I usually get whatever games I asked for.
sadly i don't have girlfriend but if i did i would want a girl who gamed so we could do something together that i care about . even though if i did have a girlfriend gaming would probaly be the last thing on my mind ( well maybe second )
man I need to get laid more, no GF means no fun in life, you guys are lucky, somehow i'm patient and not rushin for one, don't know the answer but I keep lookin' (I you guy find it too personal, just say it)
Actually i hate playing games around my girl friend. She will just lay down and go to sleep aka meaning I'm ignoring her and i hate that look but still i want to play my damn games and its really annoying especially when she buys me a game i really want but then i cant play it because I'm with her. Thats like teasing a dog with human food.
My GF/best friend will sometimes get into a game or when there's nothing on TV she wants to watch she will try and incourage me to game all I want, she went out and bought a LCD HDTV just to make the game experence better. She even incouraged me to get the PS3 a while back.
Well, in the event that I ever get married I now have some good pointers about how to avoid confrontation if she ends up being anti gaming (which I steer clear of anyway), either way, good posting, thanks married guys.

Well we're not married but we have been together for about 13 years now.
at the moment i'm single, but my last girlfriend was really into Guitar Hero and Rock Band so we always played those together. she also liked some other skating games plus she really liked Star Wars. i miss her :( but anyway she was always ok with me playing all of the time
i suppose im one of the luckiest here then, my gf has a ps3, 360 and a wii and loves playing call of duty 4 online with me, we play almost daily. she baught her ps3 and cod4 just so we could play online together, how awesome is that.
dude every week end my step father is on his PC playing battlefiled 2 all day long! plus he's the one who got me into playing Contra on the SNES and Wolfenstine and DOOM on the PC oh so many years ago! so yeah they do!
My gf likes kiddy and casual games, but just bought her lil bro and older bro (loser at 28) a 360 and they want her to buy them a PS3. They have a Wii already. So she doesn't game much, but does occasionally and is around it all the time. If she calls and I say I am gaming or just started to, she'll let me go and tells me to call when I'm done. I don't have much time to game (took me a two weeks to beat uncharted) but if I am, it's hands off.
yeah i dont have a GF either. but the girl i like really likes GH so i assume she would love Rock Band. *sighs and goes off into a daydream* what would it be like to play my beloved Rock Band with my beloved Hillary?
