Dont patch your dead island!!

dont patch ot otherwise you will lose the progress of your trophies and your trophy percentage will go down!! it happened to me.

Did you try simply re-syncing your trophies? Make sure you sync your trophies with the PSN servers every so often of lost progress is bound to happen. If you had synced recently then a re-sync will make those trophies pop up again.

First off, the trophy percentage went down because they added trophies to the game and a way to avoid (I assume anyway) losing your progress is to simply put your save data on cloud storage if you're a PS+ subscriber BEFORE you download the update. Hope this helps :P
