Don't you think ps3 misses something?

Ok so i was thinking and don't you think ps3 misse's something?I mean i love it and stuff but i think that it misses to much things...

Like on xbox there are great games like halo or gears of war that i would like to try in the ps3 (never touched a xbox 360 sadly) and the xbox live it's awesome way better than the crappy psn...

And there are the achivements that i would love to have in my ps3...

But with the release of Home and the trophy's i think it will equal the achivements...

So what do you think?

Yep totally agree.Live is far better than PSN.Plus we need in game chat+music in ps3 titles,so you don't have to come out of a game everytime a friend sends a message.

But saying that,the PS3 is a far better made console+I can see in say 2 years from now that it will surpass anything a 360 can do.

Truth. I owned a Xbox and had live. No user stuff. Halo was overrated, So I was already upset by than. I did like Fable. But when I joined a few Xbot message boards. And would talk PS2 and all. I found out the The whole fan base and user boards were full of idiots. It all stunk. TRUTH. Latter my brother "A IBM big BIG!! shot" Would fill me in on more juice, that would install and cement even more hate for them. I went to hell. I hung out with Satan himself. And im glad to say im back out.

im the exact opposite dude i love the Playstation Controllers but hate xbox controllers i just think the xbox controller is WAY TO BIG its just not comfy for my hands and im not being biased cause i have both systems

I have both consoles, but Live is overrated, I wouldn't say it's "way better" than PSN. Anyway, good news- in-game XMB is arriving in time for MGS4! This will hugely close the gap between the 2 services. Floppy_Jim

You can already get those, i picked up a copy of play and saw this tiny box on one of the pages that had this usb xbox control for £20, so you could look into if you were that interested..

All that was there were Gears, Forza 2, Lost Planet, and the Tom Clancy games. The rest of the games 360 brags about didnt come out until the last quarter of 2007 (360s second year). lol, the original xbox controller ... is the reason i hated the xbox ... not the games not anythign else, just the controller, it was massive, and i don't have small hands, but dealing with the ps and ps2 and assuming that technology over time was getting smaller, i got stunned by this behemoth of a controller, but i must say the 360 controller is A LOT easier to handle and i actually like it, although i am used to the analog sticks beside eachother thanks to playing playstation for so long now.

To be honest I don't think my PS3 is missing anything except for in game XMB, trophys will be nice but I don't really care. When I bought my PS3 I didn't know it had half the features that it does. I only bought it to play GTAIV/MGS4 and watch my blu-rays on. The media server thing is the best thing ever. In game music doesn't bother me at all and neither does the chatting things since I don't play online that much. ikwal

Yeah i really didnt know many of the features when i bought it but was pleasantly surprised by them ... in-game music isnt a big thing for me, because most of the time if not all time, i always like the music in-game, i mean there are plenty of random tracks in a game such as Gran Turismo that i may have never heard of or listen to outside the game, but in the game the music just gets me in the zone, it feels perfect for what im doing in the game, and this is how i feel about most games, which is why i don't really care much for the in-game music, and for a lot of the games now-adays the audio is absultely stunning, like the music in Heavenly Sword was amazing (i used to leave the ps3 on the Heavenly Sword Demo, when i used to study, cuz i just loved listening to the music).

Yea I was a tad shocked to. i had read all about everything. But It just felt like I had more "Maybe playing the true next gen movies helps." Then I had thought.



And Ill send you a real trophy I got hundreds of them lol. And I did not have to do stupid stuff to get them. I actually had to do fun hard stuff.

MGS4 Less than 3 weeks now.

Its missing RPG's. The 360 has had numerous RPG's, both good and bad... and the PS3 has just has 360 ports that come out months later.

I'm skimming the PS2's library just to find RPG's to play these days.

I also agree that the 360's controller is greater than the PS3's. It feels better in my hands, especially for the game genre that holds 50% of the market these days... FPS.

PS: The PS3 has one thing that it can infinately better than the 360... and that is streaming Video. It's applicable to more video formats, has less lag (even through wireless vs 360 wired), and causes less of a hassle.

PS,PS: I forgot to mention remote play. (Which is great for those of us who don't want to walk on the grey side).

The only problem with the ps3 right now is the overload of pushbacks. I could care less about in-game xmb or in game music, so I think the ps3 is good for now.

I used to have a 360 and traded it in after several months. Got very bored of it. XBL isn't all it's cracked up to be. The only people who say that are usually 360 fanboys. The PS3 is the better console overall. With the 360 everything costs extra:playing online, a bigger HDD, ability to play HD DVD's, wireless online. The PS3 has all the features you need built in.

I personally don't like achievements either. They just turn every game into a points competition. And the PS3 is a much better built console. You don't have to live in fear of it dying on you every day.

RESISTANCE was not bad. RandC was another 9 game. And MGS 4 might be ok lol.

FF 13 im sure will sell some. FF 13 versus will sell even more.

Yeah i know what you mean truenextgen, i just play my PC's MP3s over the PS3 sound while turning off music in-game usually since both sound ouputs go through the same sound console then to my speakers.

Pain will soon accept user playlists to play MP3s next patch coming this june, but it really is up to the developpers to make that feature into their game, and since nowadays they usually spend a busload of money on game soundtracks, it's something they rarely dare to do. I admit i don't care for it as my 120 gig of MP3s is better off on my PC anyways, i would just have to trim my music down to fit on the PS3 hard-drive and since I get to enjoy them along with any PS3 game with my setup, there's no point in that for me.

i think ive seen people modify ps3 controllers to xbox ones, i think i've seen one b4 on ps3 fanboy or something of the latter.
