I've tried leaving the screen on the regular blue scree to cover over them but that just made it kinda worse my friend says that they're burns on the screen(sorry for lack of punctuations and bad spelling)i need help because i cant enjoy games and movies when i have this big grey line in the middle of my screen

I have something similar. In every dark area, like the sky in GTA4 at night, or dark places in MGS4, the picture sticks in some places. Doesn't look to good tbh. Don't know if it's something you could fix though...

Sounds like burn in, very common in plasma HDTVs.

Yeah plasma HDTVs tend to have those marks when you leave an image for a long period of time.

LCD'S are better for gaming because it's hard to get a burn-in on them vs plasma. If you have a plasma try using pixil shift some plasmas have this ft.

I know about burns, but I've got an LCD, and the picture isn't even still for seconds... Doesn't bother me that much though, but it sure is annoying!

Only plasmas and CRT-based Tv's can get burn in kids. IE - LCD, DLP, etc CAN NOT
