I heard a while back that they were going to give the psp a second analog stick, but did not see, heard anything about it since then, and it was about 4 months ago. With the new psp-3000 coming and still no double sticks, what's the status on that ?
sony just keeps the psp as a side job.Thye dont really care about what people want if they did they make a 2nd analog for the psp and port ps2 games on to it like the big it Hits one they know people will buy like the GTA-SA and others.The PSP-3000 is a joke just too make people go out and buy it for a new LCD and mic and lets not for get the -30mins of battery life u get with it.

1 it has the same battery life! and 2 its just an upgrade stop complaining!! seriously.
STOP IT! The PSP will never have 2 analogs.............the games are not designed for it! If there ever is a PSP2, then yes, it probably will.............I would'nt expect to see that for another 4 years though.
Most of the games are designed for it, how many shooters are there when you have to us the stupid XO buttons to look aim, there was a guy who attached his ps2 controller to the psp though
The PSP is good the way it is. I had no problem at all playing FPS games like Medal of Honor Heroes(quite a playable and fun game if you set the controls so you aim with the analog and and move with the face buttons). And for a while don't expect a second analog stick. Maybe in a PSP2, due to people nitpicking all the time. But I don't see the point. I never had any trouble with PSP controls (porting Ape Escape was not a good idea though).

Buddy, the new PSP-3000 isnt just a new screen with a mic. It also has a PS button now! (same on the PS3) But thats not the point. Its a new upgrade with better security so people dont homebrew and CFW there PSP. You can put PS2 games on the PSP if you have CFW. And you can make PS2 ports. It has all been done mate.

I firmly believe that it's not possible. The PSP, while powerful on it's own right, is weaker then the PS2. Besides, the world is not such a perfect and fun place where I can take Tekken Tag Tornament and GTA: San Andreas with me. It's just not done.

you can always get your psp modded to have a second analog stick which works as the square triangle circle and X button to use it in fps but a official psp with 2 analog stick nope wont happen

The PSP will not get a second analog stick until the PSP2 (if that ever happens) IMO. If devs start making games that use a second analog stick, that will just alienate those with only one stick (;)).
