Downloadable content and playing games..

I never noticed this.. after downloading tons of things on my PS3.. whenever I play a game, or watch Netflix, the download goes Pending. No wonder **** takes forever to download! Is there a way to fix this?

Some games allow you to download while playing, some don't ... I know Demon's Souls allows you to download while playing online, but NCAA Football doesn't ... I don't know why, it's just the way it is
