I loved demons souls on my first runthru but now im not so sure. The difficulty of ng+ is a huge turn off. I really dont like how i can die from regular enemies not even mini bosses in like 1 or 2 hits. Sorta makes you feel like you can never enjoy and relax. I also dont like how you dont eventually become this superpowerful legendary warrior that destroys certain ememies and handles others much better. Havent played dragon age yet but looks great.hotfireei just finished my first playthrough yesterday and i though teh 2nd will be a cakewalk, especially that i've upgraded my weapons to special ones such as the Morion blade... but then, i realized that it got harder... so it's same difficulty but with better equipment / items...
Demons Souls, will last longer and if you can look past the difficulty, captivate you more.
On the other hand Dragon Age has a really good story, but the gameplay is no where near has good has demons souls
I would go with Demons Souls, but if you wann play it safe, Dragon Age is your best bet.
I still havent got past the first 2 level of Demons Souls, and i dont care at all. I love dying over and over again, but very few would agree
Go with Dragon Age. You'll actually have fun with it. Demons Souls is just frustrating and no fun at all.Y2Jfan23Have you played Demons Souls?

I agree with Manticore. There's something about Demon's Souls that sucks you in. Even looking past the difficulty, you feel obligated to keep trying. Yes it can be difficult, but on my first playthrough it wasnt too tough. NG+ got a little harder but nothing to astronomical. Honestly I still think Shin Magami Tensei Nocturne is a much Harder game(Seeing as it's turned-based...but still awesome...man I miss that game :( )when it comes to RPG's , that I've played. all subsequent playthroughs in Demons Souls, however, only get marginally harder in(New Game ++ and beyond).
Dragon Age is really good to but It's not like Demon's Souls at all in terms of Combat, it's mre along the line of the KOTOR series and Mass Effect. But the story will draw you in more Than DS's story(Demon Souls story is not the greatest, probably it's main flaw I would say) but if you're a graphics afficionado then Dragon Age might not be up to par with what you're used to...But Otherwise Both Titles are really good and I would recommend both...Good luck finding Demon's souls however, it's becoming harder to find in retail stores, you might have to get it on Ebay.
It's my second playthrough in Demon's Souls and I still love the challenging diffficulty!!!! I heard that after 2game+, the difference is less noticeable!
I have yet to play Dragon Age but can tell you that prior to playing Demon's Souls I believed it's difficulty would be a major turn off. I'm not one that enjoys trial and error gameplay but Demon's Souls does a terrific job of captivating and bringing you back for more.
Oh gee, I love both. Every day is a master debate on which one I should put in to play.

Haha I'm also master debating on whether I should get demon's souls or mgs4

Funny whenever I'm master debating its about a woman...Demon Souls is just a grind fest...can you play a game where for the next 40 or so hours all you do is grind to level up or increase your revenue (ie. Final Fantasy 1 and Dragon Warrior 1 on the old NES)? If you grew up with the old games, then Demon's Souls will give you a that nice nostalgia.
As for Dragon Age, this is the perfect RPG where you enjoy it while relaxing and the story is great and gameplay is more about strategy.
I have both, and having a full time job and travelling all the time, I enjoyed Dragon Age a bit more.
Want a game where there's an actual story? Want a game where to can make love to beautiful women? Want a game so you don't break your controller? Get Dragon Age Origins now!
I like Demon's Souls more, but they are both great games and you can't go wrong with either. they are both Highly addictive and both will have you re-playing the game a number of times.

Dragon Age for the Win. I'm pretty much obsessed with this game, haven't stopped playing since the release. But it's really love it or hate it there is no middle ground. As for the story its passable but everyone who is mentioning the story is epic is pretty wrong, entertaining is more the word. It is a great experience all and all and it does a nice job of making you feel like your decisions are important and that you play a vital role in the world... I love it for the customizing though, I'm a sucker for some good strategy.
