I got it. It's freaking amazing. It's not perfect, but it does some things very, very well. I played it non stop for a couple weeks and even platted it. No regrets.

i would've gotten it already if i didn't have to buy a re-release of a game i bought new barely months before DA's launch.
EDIT: it's just such a bad packaging. you know what the vast majority of people who are interested in dragon's dogma: dark arisen also have in common? they've already bought dragon's dogma! :P

I was really dissapointed in the lack of manual and lack of info on the back of the case. It was obviously made assuming everybody who'd buy it alraedy knew the game.
I got it, thought it was pretty bad. I'm at the point where a silent protagonist just doesn't work for me anymore, and my pawns are the exact opposite of silent, they won't shut up. Changing their speech to Japanese doesn't help, something being repeated over and over in Japanese is still annoying. The actual gameplay itself is pretty good, but EVERYTHING surrounding it is so lackluster and lazy that it's still a bad game overall.
