idk about all of you ps3 owners but while being pumped for mgs4, assassins creed, gta, i must say naughty dog's new game has me pumped.  i watched the trailer about 3 times last week and i must say it looks amazing.  it looks like one of those games that will truely display the power of ps3 and blu-ray.  as for ps3 losing a good bit of its exclusives, i admit that i also have a xbox360 buttt i do not want to buy gta for xbox or mgs4 if it decides to go multiplat, or devil may cry.. those games belong in my ps3 library, and thats the way its gona be :P haha

I have a PS3 and a 360.

I would buy gta, mgs4 and dmc for the PS3 but only if the PS3 version had the same online options as the 360.

I would hate to buy gta for the PS3 to find out that i am missing out on multiplayer or DC.

What will you do if the 360 has online options the PS3 version was missing? It might happen.

well, i'd get the multiplat games on the PS3 for the free online.... don't have any next gen consoles yet, but planning to get both, and save on cash by playing online for free.

So did you buy the PS3 or 360 version.  I would have to go for the 360 version even if the PS3 has slightly better graphics.

Sony should just forget about Home and fix the online service.  I would preffer to pay for the online if it ment getting the extra multiplayer option, dc, a online system with all the features of xbl, alot more demo's and trailers.

Drakes Uncharted look alright but it is still to early to tell.  I haven't seen any gameplay video's so mybe i will be hyped for it after that.

Blu-ray disc won't make it better.  Most games won't go over the 9 GB max of DVD so blu-ray won't matter much to this game.  Even games like oblivion didn't fill up a DVD.  I think it was only 6GB.

If they started to make the game for the PS3 first then you might find the PS3 version has slightly better graphic because the 360 version would be a port.  I don't know if this is the case or not.

im stoked about uncharted also, has lots of potential. the new gameinformer magazine had a great article on it with never before seen screens and gameplay info (maybe a co-op feature?). on the disk thing... um you know gears pushed the space right? it filled up every inch of that 9gb disk. one guy from insomniac had a great reply on disk space and why he thinks in the long run it'll make a difference (im not gonna go on about it look it up if it interest you ... to early and too long).

It's hard to compair the information on a 9GB DVD and the 50GB blu-ray.

See 360 games have there data comressed so you can fit more into just 9GB.

You might of heard that a game like MGS4 will use the full 50GB.  The data has been repeated on the disc to help it load.  I don't know how much is repeated but it is misleading.

Also MSG4 has a huge amount of music that must take alot of data.  Most games wouldn't even come close to putting that much music on there games.

yeah i saw the article in game informer and it truly does look amazing... but yeah you can tell im new to the who disc thing because i was totally wrong since u said there is more to it with how things are compressed and such.. so you mean to tell me like the blu-ray discs arent as big as they seem or whatever?

You are right, Uncharted does look like it will be sleeper hit, That's why I don't understand some of the ps3 owners. With  new exclusive like Uncharted, lair,KZ2 , and many other tittle, why worry about former playstation tittles going multiplatform. I have both the ps3 and the 360, but I favor my ps3 a LITTLE more overall. Even though the 360 has the better game selection at the (PRESENT) moment.

Don't get me wrong 50GB is massive but most games won't take full advantage of it yet.

At the end of the day it doesn't really make a difference.  If they 360 had a game over 9GB it would just bring out more discs with it.  I wouldn't care if i have to buy a game with three disc and change them over ever 5-10 hours.  I know that i get lazy playing the computer but my ass hasn't got that big yet that i can't get off my seat and change a disc.

Yeah, if I remember correctly kojima said the music alone would take up about 25 gb.
