Can anyone please tell me why it says game could not be started due to region restrictions? I live in Singapore.  But still ps3 should play ps2 and 1 games...

cos wen i first tried playin a ps2 game on the ps3 it didn't let me play at first but if you go to the ps3 site and get the latest update they work.

ps1 and 2 games sre region coded even on the ps3 unlike its own games wich arent....

check wether your playing pal games on a pal ps3..i think that is your regions code...
