Looks like nothing interesting until the end of June and End of August unless your into sports.
This is a good thing for me
Now i can catch up on Red Dead, 3d Dot, Split / Second, Modnation, and Blur.
This topic is locked from further discussion.
I like having no games during the summer. Not only can I catch up onold games I love, but also, its summer! Go out with friends, go to the beach, meet some chicks, get drunk, etc. Summertime is social time for me. Once fall arrives, people start going back to school and work the night shifts, so from fall-spring, thats all about gaming in your spare time ;)
well no ones holding a gun to your head making you buy these new games on release date. just play all your backlogged games, finish them, THEN buy those games. its simple ppl
I'm fine with dry times TBH.
nothing interests me really until Crysis2 and Medal Of Honor.
I have only just finished my GOW collection and yet to start No 3. that and my Red Dead Redemption sitting, still in it's wrapping, i think i have enough to keep me going through the dry spell
Yeah I'm really behind on games so it's a good thing for me too. I have more than 10 games that I want to get but more and more good ones keep coming out.
I think it's a good thing. Now I can actually concentrate on finishing a bunch of the recently and not so recently purchased games I have. LOLazzezino
Yea talk about wasted money. Bought WKC and Bioshock 2 and have yet to play either for more than 30 mins. Still got to much to play though.

Alright few things ill point out from what you said. This is a PS3 Discussion, the whole topic is about PS3 games. Peace Walker great, but im talking about release dates for the PS3. I already stated that the interesting stuff is coming out at the end of June and Aug. You added Blazeblue which is fine.
I even stated myself that these dry times was a good chance to catch up with what i need to play as well. Everyone seemed to see that too. Makes it look like you started typing after just reading the title and not the content. Silly wabbit.
yes thank god, I have SKate 3, MNR, SSFIV, UFC2010 and RDR to play lol, along with bfbc2. Next game Ill be getting prolly wont be til august lolLooks like nothing interesting until the end of June and End of August unless your into sports.

Well a couple other people named PSP game as well, why not berate them too? and i only listed 1 PSP game, because that release date is pretty much the jumping off point for the summer games.. and whats wrong with listing the releases i'm looking forward to over the summer? while you may be expecting "dry times" some of us have plenty of games coming out over the summer... So its alright for you to bring your opinion on how you like that no games are coming out because you wasted your money on games you haven't played yet but its not ok for me to list the games that are still going to warrant a purchase and most likely be of decent quality in the same time period?[QUOTE="jjivey"][QUOTE="PoisoN_Facecam0"]

Toy Story 3 comes out on June 15th. I have a feeling that will be a solid game despite being a movie tie-in game.
yokofox33
solid easy plat :)
I could care less about the Platinum. I just love Toy Story. The game actually looks fun.
i know u don't, just playing with your emotions lol
I was blown away by Toy Story 1 back on the Ps1. Same feeling i had when i played Donkey Kong on the SNES. Way ahead of the competition. Although i look forward to it, all "kid" games drop in price very fast so ill catch it down the line.

This is true. I'm wary about spending 50 bucks on it even though I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy it. Game prices drop so fast nowadays. Even RDR dropped to 50 on Amazon just a day or two after it released. I might wait for Toy Story 3 unless Amazon want to throw a killer deal at me.
Not for me. I just bought God of War III, Alan Wake, and Prince of Persia, plus I'm already playing Super Mario Galaxy 2, Mass Effect, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Final Fantasy XIII (working on the Plat), and Bayonetta (working on 1000/1000 gamerscore). I've also got Peace Walker coming next month and Persona 3 Portable in July. So yeah, I haven plenty to keep me busy for the next couple months.
this is why i work 2 jobs over the summer. its hotter than camel hump and theres no good games to keep me occupied while i wait for that big yellow thing to drop outta the sky. might as well be stackin papers for the holiday releases :D
i will probably get blazblue: cs though, and occupy my nights with terrible japanese music and carpal tunnel inducing combos.

The music in Blazblue kicks butt. I have the soundtrack to the first one. It is awesome for the most part.
There is trinity universe and atelier Rorona coming in the summer time. Those games might not rock your socks but they seem alright for those looking for a strategy RPG. Alright I am prepared for YokoFox33's rebuttal.
Seriously. October of last year to now has been almost nonstop games and a lot of great exclusives just on PS3.
Uncharted 2, Ratchet and Clank a crack in time, Demon's Souls, MAG, Yakuza 3, White Knight Chronicles, God of War Collection, God of War 3, Heavy Rain, 3D Dot Game Heroes, Modnation Racers, and so forth.
Multiplats, we have Tekken 6, Call of Duty, Prince of Persia, Red Dead Redemption, Final Fantasy 13, Assassins Creed 2, Bioshock 2, Dragon Age, Super Street Fighter 4, Bayonetta, and so on.
I am not saying all the games I mentioned you like or even I do, but there are enough people that like it to be considered good to some extent.
We have got Socom 4, Little Big Planet 2, David Jaffe project, Killzone 2, Infamous 2?, Resistance 3?, Agent, the Angecy, Gran Turismo 5, Marvel VS Capcom 3, Insomniac's multiplat game, and games we do not know about yet. There will be plenty for the picking my friend. I like your horse blob avatar whatever it is.

I don't have one. I'm looking forward to Atelier Rorona actually. I like the Atelier games. Still skeptical about Trinity Universe, but the gameplay videos I've seen of it at least tell me it'll be better than Cross Edge and Last Rebellion.

I can't seem to find footage of Atelier Rorona. I never got into the series but it seems cool. The PS3 seems the place to go for strategy RPG's. Valkyria Chronicles, Disgaea 3, Trinity Universe, Atelier Rorona. I am surprised that NIS is making their games PS3 exclusive especially for how badly they sell. I wish Tales of Vesperia would come out in NA. I have it for 360 but I want to see the bonus content even if it is crap. I heard it has double the dialogue of the orginal plus more artes to use.
