[QUOTE="Dymond7"]I own both the DS and PSP, so don't think im a DS fanboy, I think it's because the DS has... a casual fanbase and GH is kind'a a casual game, and the other reason is because (I THINK) GH on the DS has a peripheral ,and It would be impossible to do that with the PSP.bowlamaEXACTLY!!!!! I don't know y people keep bi*ching about no gh on da psp. 2 much games r pirated in da psp community plus da psp isn't really designed 4 a guitar hero game. can any1 actually imagine playing guitar hero on da psp!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
I can't imagine playing GH on the PSP, you have to spend quite alot of time pulling DJMax Portable 2 out of it to fit another PSP game in the UMD slot. Music games can be done on the PSP (8B is extremely entertaining and the reason I'm still playing it 2 years out of release) but I wouldn't touch a GH game console or portable b/c the soundtrack isn't for me.
so...all i get that guitar hero won't be on psp never?Nansho
To be fair it's pretty obvious why it won't be on PSP and if you can't see why then I'll explain to you.
OK first let's examine GH on DS, they made it in such a way that it can be made portable, what advantages does DS have over PSP for the game, well for start touch screen, which means you can use that for strumming. Secondly it has 2 screens, which means you can strum and cover up one screen without interfereing with the other screen, also the screen on PSP isn't suited to the game, it'd mean having to tilt your PSP sideways, because in it's normal position the screen would be all squished. Ok now imagine they decided to make GH on PSP. They can't have you strum the screen so thats out. They can't therefore have just a button attachment, you'd need a full sized guitar, and guess what that means? It's not portable AT ALL, which means you'd end up only playing the game at home. Which then becomes completely pointless since if you're at home why not just play on your console version, with a big screen. In other words GH on PSP would be pointless.
Guitar Hits is coming to the psp. There is a release date on ign. Ubisoft is making itbmsaareaglesGuitar Hits isnt actually a game. Its just a guitar tutor to teach you how to play a guitar plus with some extra stuff about the history of guitars & how guitars are made.
There's nothing to discuss. DS has a convenient peripheral thanks to the GBA slot and it works great. PSP has a USB cable which COULD be used, but it would be incredibly stupid. The PSP is a portable system and I don't want to need to carry around a USB guitar for gaming on the go.m1k3m
that would be gay but taiko no tatsujin is on PSP and you don't need a drum to connect to it. maybe they could make it to where you just push buttons? but then again duh the DS does have the obvious advantage to being a portable guitar hero.
but who cares anyway? guitar hero stopped being good once harmonix stopped making it. end of story.
You're not missing out on anything. The only place the game belongs is on a console.grim1813
I concur. The peripheral itself is a nice novelty but it looks very uncomfortable. I'd rather be playing Guitar Hero, Rockband or a real instrument. With some imagination you could design an add-on for the PSP which uses the USB as an interface (like the GPS and camera) but only Sony can make that feasible and I highly doubt they will.
so...all i get that guitar hero won't be on psp never?Nanshonever say never... I think right now the only reason they have GH on the ds is because they can attach the extra parts to it. If they find a way to do that for the ps, then sure why not? The origin of guitar hero was sony and not nintendo after all.
