Dual Shock 3 question.

Has anyone gotten a Dual Shock 3 yet? I ordered one but mu PS3 broke before I got to use it and i am waiting for it to come back.

Are there any problems with them?

How do they work compared to the sixaxis?

I won't buy one until there is a slight price drop. I have gotten around the lack of rumble on my Sixaxis.

I got my black DS3 on Monday. It feels exactly like the sixaxis, only a little heavier. It says "Dual Shock 3" and "sixaxis" on the back. I played Super Stardust HD and it definitely rumbles.

The dual shock 3 has bothrumble and sixaixs functions. It is sturdy than the original sixaxis which feels a bit hollow.

Some people like to mix and match the black and white controllers. Black for personal use, white for the others.

Yes, I'm in Japan right now with my US PS3 and I went out and bought a Dual Shock 3 at a Japanese mall. Works perfectly, and I cannot believe how long the charge last on this controller....good lord. LONG TIME

Okay, I know that it has been cleared up already, but Im on Play-Asian right now and the page says that its compatible with PS3 Japan. So, just be absolutely sure, it will work with my PS3?NikoBellic07

Yes it will work with all regions of ps3.

Ugghh, after dropping $150+ on 3 extra Sixaxis when I initially got my system, this is annoying. I am sure I will buy one when they're released in the U.S.

For the record, Sixaxis sucks and was a cheap last second attempt to compete with Wii IMHO. More often than not I turn the feature off in games if that is an aption. I wish they would have stuck with DS.

Bought my white DS3 from ebay last week. $53 + $10 S&H...completely worth it!

Uncharted, Burnout Paradise and Super Stardust HD are tons more enjoyable now.
