dualshock 4 works with Last of Us and Resistance:fall of man

got the dual shock 4 at my local gamestop today and tried it with both games, works great

but last of us is only an 8. does the ds4 work with any 9's?

when you plugged your controller in did it just work automatically? because mine isnt working im using on eof my cell phone chargers i had lying around and it works but do i need to get one specifically for the controller or what because it just isnt working
