why would it void your warranty its a controller made by sony, and it will work just fine on your ps3 if you import it from japan.

Yeah it'll work with the current games coming out (R&C has it), and older games may get a patch.No link but I recall the Uncharted rumble ws very good. R&C not so much, only uses it sparingly.
