DW6 Review: 9.0

The fact that you call the voice acting perfect shows you are very biased towards the series. It's a great game, because I am a fan of the series myself, but it does not offer anything new to someone that is not a hack-n-slash fan. I'm sure the average score will be 6.0 out of 10; the level design is ok and the textures are rather bland looking.

And there are only 41 characters with 17 Musou modes that are better than past versions imo, I like how they actually veer off to cater to the individuals contribution to the Three Kingdoms story.

Again, I like it, and fans of DW will more than likely like it, however, it's not something you can force people to like.

I dont care what you think, say, or saw and heard DW6 is the best sword game im played since like forever. With more than 60 characters 2 pick from you will get your moneys worth. The backgrounds look beautiful. the voice acting is prefect. People who dis like DW6 for what ever reson most likely haven't played the past games. I imported the Japanese version two months ago. I've played every single DW game released and to give simple impression of each: (impressions from when I played them, not now)

DW: Awesome fighting game

DW2: Great epic war in huge battlefield, revolutionary game.

DW3: Great improvement from DW2 with crazy fun Co-op.

DW4: Flopped, it sux in every way so I don't bother writing them.

DW5: Okay

DW6: Good: changed chain system (I think it's better), bigger map, still fun.

Bad: Invisible soldiers still exist in Co-op (big no-no), no great improvements, very little choices and strategies.

My score: 7.0 (Good)
