E3 2007 - What does Sony have up it's sleeve?

How exactly would you play ps3 games on that?

I don't think Sony will go just with the same stuff they had during SCEA gamers day. There will be most definetly larger demos of Heavenly Sword and Uncharted but i am positive there will be a lot of new stuff. Killzone 2 was confirmed, there will be MGS4 but that is 3rd party, FF games and so on. I also expect 8 days and GetAway 3 not demos, maybe in-game videos.

There will be definetly a lot of PSP stuff to. Maybe a few games for PS2.

Overall i expect form 3-5 new projects that are exclusive to PS3 and at least that much if not more for PSP

but since the OP asked what do u think will happen, I think 360 will steal the show, how? either MGS4 or FF13 is going there. dont get me wrong, i dont want that to happen (actually i dont care) but i can see it happening.

plus, in order for sony to steal the show, they better have a price cut announcement   :D

that being said, GoW3 (teaser), WKS will show up and team ICO games. thats as far as Sony goes. for 3rd party no idea.

I'm getting nervous now. They better have a $200 price cut along with AAA games or they are finished.....Kids, their biggest fan base just CAN"T afford this system. They HAVE to find a way to lower production costs or have 15 straight AAA MUST HAVE games. KILLZONE!!!!!!!!!!!!! After Sony's gamer day I was so hyped about these games coming out I completely forgot about Killzone, MGS4 and FFXIII and what they will look like and that filled me up with gamer joy I have never felt before :D Killzone will be huge so will MGS4 and FFXIII you can also expect the multiplats like AC (Assasins), UT3, DMC4 and such and possibly one of the greatest looking PS3 games...Wardevil:Enigma we'll see how that turns out.

really lol NO blu ray= NO MGS4, uncharted and many other title. i wish people would stop complaining about the blu ray if you did any kind of research what devs are saying the normal blu ray disc isnt enough space for some games they want more. 4 layer 200 gb blu-ray disc here we come

Im expecting some in game/playable demos some AAA games and some new third party stuff

Sony already showed off a ton of stuff at games day or w.e. so theyll probably just give more info on games weve already seen

E3 for me = FIND OUT WHEN MGS4 FINALLY COMES OUT

For every one whos saying sony will drop their price of the PS3 by $200 (canadian) EH! WRONG! that would make it cheaper then the Elite version of xbox 360. Less we forget the PS3 has blue ray which is another reason why the drop in price for ps3 wont go over $100 cnd. They will only drope its price from ($699 cnd) to ($599cnd).For the united states look to see a similar pattern with the price alrdy being at $599 us it will drop to $549 or $499 ($499 being the lowest). Other than price new games and other accesories will be introduced or revised.O1Kanoby

Well, I don't know what they will have, but I know what they need.

-Killzone 2 better look as good (or nearly_ to what we saw 2 years ago. It also needs to be a playable demo, which will hopefully get some buzz.

-GT5 must show up. I have no interest in these games, but I think GT3 was the highest selling PS2 game last generation- it's announcement/release WILL drive sales.

-FF13 has to remain exclusive. Sony, throw money at them- just get it done. Again, I have no interest in the game personally, but again, it WILL drive sales. 

-More Little Big Planet. This game has a lot of buzz and I think by E3, it should be playable to the extent that they have journalists in to create a level with them to experience "communal creativity."

I also think that having a new IP playable and ready to wow journalists would do a lot to get buzz stiring again. GDC was an absolute success for Sony due to Home/LBP, and Gamers day was also pretty successful due Uncharted (though it was known before, it wasn't known to be THAT good looking). I think another successful event like that will certainly turn around Sony's image.
