I'm just curious since if I ever was to buy a PS3 I'd use my computer monitor (I only have a 13" SDTV for my old legacy systems :P )

I know the 360 has the 360-VGA adaptor or w/e, but I don't know of a PS3 version of this. I've never hooked up any console to my monitor, so I'm unsure of the best way to go about doing it. If anyone does this please post how.

If your monitor has a DVI port you can get an HDMI to DVI cable and it will work.

make sure your monitor is hdcp compliant, otherwise you wont be able to hook it up. use hdmi if your monitor has it.

Are these sold at Bestbuy, or places like that?

Also, are there certain requirements that my monitor must meet in order for it to display a PS3 in HD? I do intend on buying a brand new 22-24" computer monitor this year (I hope I can find a good deal), so I'd like to know before I buy.
