I just got Valkyria Chronicles from GameStop, but it was not sealed. Instead it had a "new" sticker on the top right corner and a "game-days sale" sticker across the binding. I hate when they ruin the box like this. Is there an easy way to remove these stickers so they dont damage the box? Last time I tried I destroyed my KZ box.

You can try a hair dryer. It ususally works pretty well for me.

Just hold it over the sticker long enough for the adhesive to get warm. It usually peals right off then.

How do they damage the box? I just pull off the stickers and remove the ugly leftovers with nail polish remover.

I hate this aswell. I'm very particular when it comes to my cases, and those stickers are quite a pain. Alcohol can usually get the residue off after you remove the sticker, never tried the hair dryer thing. Sound feasible though. voixco, does it leave behind any of the sticky residue?

Use Goo-Gone. You can get it from Wal-Mart. I can't imagine that there isn't a Wal-Mart near you.

It varies. Sometimes they come off nice and clean and sometimes they leave behind a little residue. I usually use a little GOO GONE to get rid of any residue.

The hair dryer method is particularly useful when removing stickers from paper boxes or slip cases, since chemicals can damage them.

Most of the time, stickers just peel right off for me. Just make sure to peel it slowly, and occasionaly alter the angle that you pull the sticker at. it shouldn't rip that way.

I literally just seconds ago and in direct relation to this post, peeled off the same exact stickers you speak of with no issue and absolutely no glue residue left behind in a matter of about 25 seconds.

Buy this spray called Goo Gone Basically you rip off the sticker and then spray the Goo Gone over whats left. Let it sit for about a minute, when you come back you just wipe it off with your thumb. It also has a pleasant citrusy scent to it.

use a heat gun, they work well and they're fun to use, although I burnt the motor out of my dads once because I used it for an hour and a half straight.

Peel it slowly and change up the angle in which you're pulling. It's a pain in the butt I know.

Cody13_2012

Get your heat gun, an empty gallon milk bottle and concentrate the heat gun on the side of it for awhile and then blow in on the top and see what you get???
