Hotel Dusk: Room 215 (DS) - 6
Kaitou Wario The Seven (DS) - 4
Spectrobes (DS) - 5
Formula One Championship Edition (PS3) - 4
Arma: Armed Assault (PC) - 5
The Sims Live Stories (PC) - 5
Mach: Modified Air Combat Heroes (PSP) - 5
Trion Cube (DS) - 5
Ghost Rider (Ps2) - 6
Rocky Balboa (PSP) - 5
Battlestations Midway (360) - 5

"Worse, the steering is woefully and systematically imprecise, as if the player is on a sled with rubber reins. Your actions do not translate directly to movement; you steer, you wait for the driver to catch up. And when he does, the car lurches inwards; the moment at which it does this remains for you to guess, as there are no audio or visual clues. And despite the van-full-of-lead feel on turn in, the cars are all ridiculously twitchy in a straight line, making them hard to place. Subtle alterations are near impossible. Accuracy is near impossible."

The latest 1up Yours podcast also spoke about this (John Davidson - a UK driving game fan checked it out). The control is terrible with all driving assists off, yet the game is too easy with them on. They agree with Edge in that the game plays like the terrible EA series.

I would imagine driving a high revving, high horsepower F1 racer wouldn't be easy without stability assists.  In fact, isn't that why they have them in real life F1's?

So what? It's a racing game. What they are saying is that the control - an essential in a racing game - is terrible. It has nothing to do with gamers not being able to cope with a simulation - in fact they say the major downfall is that they tried to mix both arcade and simulation style racing and ended up being mediocre.

lol my brother and I talked about that the other day. Now days F1 is about who dares to hold the speeder down for the longest time, the rest is handles by the car, even gearing down before a turn.

I still want the game, just to see if I can make things right and beat Alonso.

PGR did that and i thought it work out Pretty well. on the other hand they compared this to a EA racing game. which makes me sick when i think about it. oh god why can EA just tank.

All I know is if it's anything like the demo then people will enjoy it.  Critics can be quite the tweakers at times.  It all boils down to personal entertainment.

Weak. The same thing will happen to it that happened to CART Flag To Flag on the Dreamcast.

I am still on a wait and see mode. I love the demo, and I can't imagine that the physics got worse.
