Edit levels with friends in LBP?

Can you make levels with friends? Whenever my friend and I try to make one it kicks the other one out? Help?

They will release a patch very soon to allow co-op level creation

Same console ftw. I had 3 friends over doing the editing. Patch for online comes later.
