i have that same concern, but unforunately theres no other way to eject the disc, but maybe an update will enable an onscreen eject option.

Fingerprints? Really? Hrm. I barely even tap the eject button with my finger tip to get a disc out. That little lip right there is still pristine.

it's not like your drawing a happy face on the main plate with grease, it's a fingerprint on the eject button.....that's called obsessive compulsive.

You and this guy should put your heads together and try to come up with the ultimate way of keeping your system as mint as the day you got it, for its entire supposed decade long lifespan.

I'll bet you can come up with something ingenius. XD

When your ps3 gets really dusty just pass a sock over it and it will look shiny again.

an eject button is useless because you have to get up to change the disc anyway

On your PS3 go to the game disk icon and press triangle on the controller. There will be an option for you to eject the disk.

Hold Down the PS button on the controller for about 3 seconds, then scroll down to Eject disk, and there you go. This is the only place I ever quit out of games, eject my games and turn off the system. Wouldn't do it any other way.

When you have selected the game or disc, press triangle and you will given a few options, eject disc is among them.

Ya there is another way. On the XMB under the Game heading, highlight the disc thats in the PS3 and press triangle and you should see an eject option. Press it and your disc ejects without you getting a fingerprint on your PS3. I know how you feel. I'm always keeping the PS3 clean so it will last as long as possible. :)
