I'm wanting to get my hands on an RPG. Just exactly how bad is Enchanted Arms? Is it serviceable at 18 bucks for a used copy? Or should I not even bother. I know what the game reviewers gave it, but I'd like a few more opinions. I bought the PS3 in anticipation of some great RPG's and, unfortunately, I'll be waiting a while.
from most reviews I've read, it averaged a 6-7 out of ten. not bad, but pretty much run of the mill. $18 sounds like a decent deal though, apparently its 30-40 hours long or so. have you looked at folklore at all? how about oblivion?

its not bad at all. go ahead and get it for 18 bucks. i spent more on worse
I've played it and found it quite good, the grid system with the golems is interesting, and composing your team with the variety of golems is great. The graphics are really nice, maybe not totally next gen, but better than PS2. There are lots of heartfelt moments and some characters you'll like a lot. I played it for 66 hours (I do a lot of levelling).
You forgot to mention the overly flamboyant character in the beginning of the game. From what i hear he is in most of the game and he is VERY FRUSTRATING. Especially since every time you conduct an attack he yells "OOOOOKAAAYYY" in the most feminine way possible.
