PS4 is looking to be a solid system for developers. x86 architecture is gonna be great. Hopefully PS4 gets the large userbase it needs to lead the industry next gen

Well, he's  a VP, not an engineer, so, what he's really saying is:

"We want to sell people our engine! our engine runs real nice on the PS4! BUY OUR ENGINE!"

Which is fine. As long as people realize this is just a sales pitch.

"It'll be just like a high-end PC, for a few months, anyway, and then technology will progress... But this being a Sony console, we'll sue the ever-livin' F*** out of ANYONE who wants to tinker, add, or otherwise modify our product! ENJOY!"

Exactly. All these reports exist to drum up interest, nothing more.

The PS4(XBOX whatever too) might be 'the world's best pc' for about a week. Then PC's will quickly surpass it in terms of power and graphics, as always.

I dunno about being "the world's best PC" but yeah it'll be plenty powerful, especially compared to every other console.

Tehe...wait till they realize you can't upgrade a console x)
