Error with COD4 modern warfare

Is anyone able to get online cause i cant...everytime i try to, it comes up with and error

I just got the message for the first time after 2.01 never seen it with 2.0

ive been waiting about 10 mins so far for a match

I keep searching for games and then after quite some time it tells me i need to be signed in, even though i had been for all that time searching.

If this is a problem with Activisions server, would it be related in anyway to the fact we have free online?

There doesn't seem to be anyone complaining on 360 forums. If this is the case thats BS cause theres so many games that work so smoothly on the PSN. I know the game is still new and these problems will be sorted soon but I wanna play now since its such a great game.

Yeah I think its only COD4 because resistance seems to work just fine. Damn Infinity Ward, fix this damn problem.

On Live 08, i cant even connect to the EA servers anymore... let alone find someone to play with. This is such a crappy internet service. DeltaCobra

Thats a problem on EA's end. EA is notorious for having horrid servers, they do this I think intentionally to save costs. They simply dont want to pay to run servers, the only one that works normally are the madden servers. Then when you report how they dont support their online they tell you its all your fault, they give a bunch of fake ports to open that don't solve the problem even slightly. They are like the walmart of the industry cept they dont pass on these costs savings to us, they just reap huge profits and laugh maniaclly that people still buy their products.
