Try googling the error, odds are someone has had this exact same problem and has an answer.  Google has helped me out many times over when it comes to computer/hardware/networking issues.

Happens to me but I'd say it's just a standard time out when you're not active and therfore taking up valuable server space. Because it never seems to happen when I'm playing on-line, browsing the store, downloading anything  or using folding at home. If it is happening to you when you're doing any of those 4 then I'd say it's your IP letting you down.

How are you connected? wired/wireless? I've seen similar messages (not sure on the code) when my wireless router was having signal strength issues, and once again when the Playstation network was bogged down or I was downloading something one 1 of my PC's that was eating up all the bandwidth.

Anything is possible, but I wouldn't think so. Is the whole system slow (i.e. browsing the XMB is delayed) or is it just network functionality? It could be that you have another networked item with the same IP address (like a PSP or another PC, possibly a squatter "borrowing" WiFi). This could cause what you're describing.

I agree, sounds like a network problem. Maybe not necessarily with your ISP, but at least within your internal network. How many items are you running in your house? Is your PC Internet running slow as well?
