European launch preorder date?

Has anybody heard anything, any hints about when the european ps3 orders will be available? Phil Harrison already said that the consoles are on their way, so I'm guessing it will be soon? Like next week maybe?

i live in england (manchester) and i have just put £50 down in Game for the PS3. The manager said that they are only taking orders for today and that Sony has said they WILL give out ps3 for all the people who have put money down hope that helps

I think pre-orders are handled locally, I have mine since early January (no deposit whatsoever), but could've gotten one as early as mid December. All depends where you live I guess

yes i put my pre order in Game way back in 2005 on paper and then i did it again in nov 06 . I got a phone call yesterday telling me that they are now taking deposits of £50 so you will deffo get one on launch day

Lol in sweden we have been able to preorder since last year :), people where preordering for the release on november (that never happend).

i 'reserved' mine last year, BUT pre-ordered it last week, Sony have launched a site that shops have to report peoples pre-orders 2, it costs 50€ (that'll get taken off the console), you also have to order accs and games from the same site

Well my parents put my name down in like march lol, and apparently that was a list to get on the preorder list, but i'm the first name on the pre-order list now :D so i should definatly get one :D

Man the pre-orders have been since September 2006 here in Denmark,but the Playstation 3 got delayed,but the Pre-orders were still available until now! But i got mine from two months on December,before the pre-orders from last month was unavailable,because there wasn´t more pre-order kits left on all technology and gaming shops.So i am hoping sony releases enouth consoles so i can get mine on the Pal Playstation 3 launch on 23th Marts 2007 day 1 hopefully.

I dont have one, but I put all the money of, so 100% guarenteed, unless all 1 million PS3s get sucked up by aliens, or fall in a volcano

I pre-ordered mine online at the start of Jan this year and heard that blockbuster were taking orders as well sarting this month(not sure of deposit price), so i guess it depends on where you stay.

Dude the only way you could have gotten one is if you went to the US or Japan.
